Tamper evident tapes show if a parcel or carton has been tampered with during delivery or storage. The tape adheres quickly to paper and cardboard surfaces but if the top layer is peeled off a non-removable warning message “OPEN VOID” remains as evidence of tampering. Once peeled off the top layer cannot be reapplied. The top layer is also printed with a message to warn warehouse and delivery operatives of this security measure.
